It is with great pleasure that we publish our first Sustainability Report, drawn up for the fiscal year 2022.
One year after the signing of the Brescia 2050 Sustainability Pact on the occasion of the 2022 edition of FUTURA EXPO, the publication of the Report represents the result of a long-lasting work with the Knowledge partner - The European House-Ambrosetti: a voluntary choice towards transparency, a significant step in our continuing evolution.
The Sustainability Report 2022 is drafted with reference to the GRI Standard 2021, the most widely used international standard for non-financial reporting, and anticipates the indications of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).
In order to understand the priorities around which to focus our reporting exercise and in line with the requirements of the reporting standards, we conducted the materiality assesment by identifying the 12 environmental, economic and social issues most relevant to our Group, with a mapping of the impacts from a dual materiality perspective and the involvement of 3 key external opinion leaders, experts in the field, who were called upon to provide their views.
The Report is structured in five chapters, three of which are dedicated to Cherubini's commitment and projects, developed along three lines revolving around product, environment and people:
